Le cose sono un po’ diverse qui nel Nord. Per noi la luce è un dono prezioso dalla natura. È la nostra fonte di benessere, è sinonimo di vita. O cosi dovrebbe essere. Progettare la luce per noi significa progettare il modo in cui interagiamo gli uni con gli altri, regolare le nostre attività e la nostra permanenza in un determinato luogo.
La nostra particolare esperienza ci ha reso in uno dei maggiori esperti al mondo in tema di illuminazione, con prodotti innovativi e di alta qualità. Abbiamo imparato a conoscere le tecnologie più avanzate. Ma oltre alla tecnologia, che appartiene nostro patrimonio, sappiamo cogliere anche la poesia della luce.
Negli ultimi tre decenni SAAS ha affiancato i suoi clienti nella scoperta di nuovi livelli del significato di illuminazione. L’intero paese si trova a Nord del 60° parallelo. Helsinki che è nel punto più a Sud, si trova esattamente sul parallelo e un terzo del paese si trova al di sopra del circolo polare artico. Ciò significa che in estate ci sono 52 giorni consecutivi di luce diurna per 24 ore, e in inverno ci sono 60 giorni consecutivi in cui il sole assolutamente non sorge all’orizzonte.

La lampada si ispira al silenzio della luce.
Il vetro lavorato a mano ha la forma sinuosa di una tromba. La fonte luminosa a LED di alta qualità diffonde una luce delicata e orientata verso il basso.
La superficie interna del vetro è caratterizzata dalla tradizionale finitura a specchio veneziana, realizzata a mano a Murano.
Coniugando il linguaggio del design scandinavo e la tradizione artigianale italiana, la lampada è contemporaneamente essenziale e unica.

Light Ware welcomes you at your reserved table.
It’s a small chargeable LED fixture, in a tiny brass body that, thanks to a little magnet, can be placed in every part of the table top and be a discreet lighting presence, as well as a candlelight.
Designed for restaurant, it can be placed also for a romantic dinner at home: when the food is served the light is changed for a 4 mm brass tube with fiber optics that presents the dish.
The light includes chargeable battery that is located under the table and mounted with a little magnet.

The name comes from a Champagne bubble – very light and airy, bubble reflects an indirect light from the inside of the curve. The fixture creates a light circle that seems to hang in midair.

Sense Light Swing is a light fixture that is also a moving, eye-catching work of art that works well even in large spaces. The shape of the fixture comes from a hanging swing for children; Alexander Lervik’s concept for Sense Light Swing was created, after all, for the 2005 show “Five Playful Chairs”. The seat of the swing, made from transparent acrylic, is lit from within by a strip of high-powered LEDs.
Sense Light Swing creates a spectacular light show as it swings back and forth on its long hanging cords. Sense Light Swing has garnered large amounts of attention in the international media ever since its prototype phase.

Designed by two rising Finnish design stars, SUB is a big fixture with a subtle indirect light.
SUB can be mounted in the ceiling or on the wall, giving a nice ambient light. A combination of several SUB lights can form an architectural element in space. Manufactured in Polyester Felt made of recycled materials the SUB is a sound absorber that creates a nice acoustic atmosphere as well.
